Message by: Mrs Lydia Hammond

Scriptures: Matthew: 1-12, 1 Peter 5:10, Act 1: 4 and 14, Acts: 12-17

The are many people who are broken and who needs hope. In spite of everything or anything know that God is alive and God gives hope and assurance . Job had hope despite the hardships he went through, he heard the voice of God and knew the was hope at the end of the tunnel.
The is power in a praying women. Mary the mother of Jesus and other women were in one place praying because the is power in a praying women. At El-Shaddai, we need praying women who unite to pray. Women who are like Mary, everything they touch has life.

We need women who unite, not those who gossip or laugh at other women. We need women who are prayer warriors. The is hope in a broken world. The are broken women in El-Shaddai but they must know that God will never abandon them. They must have hope. As women let’s pray for our church and our families, when women pray, the is unity.

Financial Breakthrough

Theme: Financial Breakthrough
3 February 2019
Message by Prophet Michael Voyiya

Financial Breakthrough

“You must understand that without money you become stagnant’ Prophet Michael Voyiya.

Prophet Michael Voyiya taught about the importance of staying away from debts and ways to be debt free. In his teaching prophet Voyiya says one of the things you must be careful of debt because it is dangerous.

Financial laws governs the time of harvest. (Proverb 29:18) when you have money you need vision. Money needs vision and you can earn a little but live as a millionaire and turning the little you earn into millions because of having a vision.

Prophet Voyiya calls on us to have a vision when coming to money because what kills people is the lack of wisdom and vision when coming to finances. Families can also put a strain in finances if they are allowed to meddle in.

According to the prophet some people don’t plan  well financially before getting  married while others put themselves under pressure. Having vision is important because you want you know you have to budget and stick to the budget.

Also, it is dangerous to please people with your salary. Debts  break up families and brings divorces . Debts not only break up families but brings stress.

What to do to have financial breakthrough:
According to Prophet Michael Voyiya, in order to attain financial breakthrough you need the following:

v You need to give. Giving is the key in life if you want God’s favour or breakthrough
  v Sow a seed (Ecclesiastes 3:2)
v Plant a seed proportionally with your expectations (2 Corinthians 9:6)
v Sow in Faith through obedience (Galatians 6:9)
v Plant at the right Season (Galatians 6:9)
v Look to the Lord of Harvest (Luke 10:2)
v After planting  a seed look to the God of harvest and wait patiently
v Pay other debts. Systematically  eliminate your debts
v Tithe and offering (Malachia 3:8)

Strengthening marriages and relationships

Strengthening marriages and relationships

El-Shaddai Grace Worship Centre Church in Bloemfontein held a couple’s fellowship on 10 November where the focus was on strengthening and building strong marriages and relationships.

The couple’s fellowship saw married couples and those engaged fill the “Upper Room” to hear for themselves first hand what makes the marriages tick and what can build strong and lasting marriages. The were also few unmarried guys who also learnt the basics and joy of being  in marriage.

Guest speakers included Bishop Sqhana and Reverend Thambazana Nibe. Addressing married couples and those engaged who filled the church, Reverend Nibe said communication and love are important as they play a big role in marriages.
Nibe says married couple should continually confess their love for each other, respect and communicate always to avoid things getting out of hand. She also advised married couples to be humble and work things through in marriage and to stick to each other through thick and thin and also to make time for one another despite their various schedules
Those who attended got to learn from Reverend Nibe about challenges posed to marriages and how to avoid them and the importance of knowing about their spouses fully and knowing what makes them tick and what can be done to continue the spark of love in marriages.
The are marriages in ICU, those pushed in a wheel chair and those that badly needs a resuscitation due to various challenges such as culture, the in laws and clashing characters to mention just a few.
Bishop Sqhana who has been married for more than 30 years called on husbands to love their wives and to be faithful to them. He said the spark in marriage should not die after getting married but must always be resuscitated through various ways.
According to Bishop Sqhana it’s important for married couples to know their spouses weakness and to compliment them when they do good and to have eyes only for them.

Bishop Sqhana also touched on the subject of money adding that it is vital as it plays a prominent role in marriages. According to the bishop the sex part is important and must be utilized fully as it’s another factor that leads to promiscuity and adultery and to curb that, he went in details on how sex in marriage can be enjoyed.
To end the day on a zenith note. Bishop Sqhana led a powerful prayer to pray for marriages and relationships asking God to intervene in bringing long lasting healthy marriages.

Mr Itumeleng Ngake did a fantastic job as the master of ceremony and the Divine Sisters kept the audience on their toes, swaying their hips and kept them well entertained through music.

THE POWER OF PRAYER

MESSAGE: THE POWER OF PRAYER

Message by Prophet Michael Voyiya

Scripture reading: Matthew 6:9

Prayer is a conversation between you and the Superior one. In your case as a born again it is a conversation between you and your Creator which is Jehovah. The name Jehovah means YAWEH. The covenant keeping God.

Prayer is a direct address to God when you are addressing God concerning your situation, a lot of people have a tendency of shouting at God, showing the is no intimacy between the two. In prayer we mean it is pouring out your soul to God, pouring out your inner being to God. To pray is to search for God.

If you make supplications, if you address God, when you are praying it is to draw light to God. Prayer can be made in every form, you can bow, stand, kneel or sit down it doesn’t matter as prayer depends on what you want. The position of your body when you pray also speaks volumes.

when you pray, go to your secret room, this is another type of prayer because prayer differs, the are different types of prayer. You have intercessions and all other types of prayers but going to your secret room when you pray is also another type of prayer which is called a secret prayer where you  don’t go in public but goes to your secret room.

Being in your secret room you can even make it worse to make it in secret than secret, your father who hears in secret will reward you. Our father who is in heaven will answer you, now the direction which you are praying to is imperatively important.

You need to make it clear you are praying to God the Creator who is in the third heaven. It’s important to clarify who you are praying to because it must be clear that you praying to the father of Jesus.

When you pray you irritate certain things in life. Sometimes when you pray the are challenges such as feeling cold or feeling like somethings are crawling on your body, or things falling in the house, continue praying because they won’t shake you. Keep steadfast in prayer, if you pray and see clouds closing or rain falling, know that you are on the right track. If your prayer makes changes know you are on the right track.

You are greater than great, your prayer has the power to change lives. When you pray expect people to call you names or give you names, the closer you are to God and the closer you get to God, the more people are going to give you names. Some will say you are involved in witchcraft or give you all kinds of names. Expect people to call you names but know that God will lift you up.

God is a God of intervention, witches cant touch you, continue in prayer. No witchcraft or people will de-motivate you. When you pray you have to know that the is a reaction which will teach you on how to approach your prayer.

The is something that you must understand that God is with you at all times, even when you are limping, blundered or whatever you have went through God is with you and loves you. He knows your weakness and what made you weak, you need to open your heart and life to him.

Ladies Conference: Dewetsdorp

Ladies Conference: Dewetsdorp
Message: Excellence
Message by Mrs Sqhana
Date: 9 September 2018

The ladies conference held in Dewetsdorp was success and attendance by ladies was immense. The cherry on top were guest Pastors Mr and Mrs Sqhana who delivered powerful message directed at women.

According to Mrs Sqhana women play an important role and women should play an active role in the church because they have power to change everything. Through women the church can be financially stable and can bring changes in the church. Mrs Sqhana calls on the ladies to not be back seated but to always be in the front and use their talents for God.

She says those who ushers or whatever role women might have in the church must do it for God and not people because people won’t be satisfied but if it is done for God it is very important no matter how down people may look at it.
Mrs Sqhana says it is time for women stop crying or worrying about what people say about them because when they are in church they are not there for people but for God. Women were urged to think outside the box and use their talents to benefit the church and not to dies with them.
On Excellence, Mrs Sqhana says someone who excels is not lukewarm nor does like being lukewarm but is always hot and ready to take her position. As women you cannot be lukewarm and not know your place in Church.

Women who excels prays and keeps her family together through prayer, she prays for her pastor, husband and children and wakes up in the wee hours of the morning praying for her family and through prayer she can hear God’s heartbeat. If a woman doesn’t pray, their children won’t have a future and through women’s prayers husbands can be strong, futures can be built and it is vital to pray hard without ceasing as a women’s prayer is able to change things. It is able to bring jobs, marriages and protection.

Whatever second you have in the house of God you have to use it, if its giving you need to give even more if its prayer, pray harder, if its ushering, cleaning or whatever role you might have in church you must excel in it.

Women should not be afraid of anything but must stand strong and be bold, putting in the armour of God and they won’t be shaken by any witches or wizard.  A woman can keep a family happy, she can make it is bitter or good.
Whoever may say you are ugly you have to know that you are a woman after God’s heart and no amount of words can change that. Your role in church should be so evident that even when you are not at church it can be missed and people can see what you are doing, you don’t need to be a back bencher in church but must play a role in the growth of the church and people should be able to remember you when you are dead.
If we want things to change in our communities as women you must take charge and be control, you need to know God’s plan for you. Its time you know your role, it’s time to excel and let go of old things but to look forward, support the pastor and make changes as women and excel. You must excel at all times

The power of the Cross which leads to the power of the Blood of Jesus.

The power of the Cross which leads to the power of the Blood of Jesus.

Sunday Service 2 September 2018

Message by Prophet Michael Voyiya
Scripture readings: 1 Corinthians 1:18,Romans 6:6 Hebrews 12:24, Colossians 1:20, Exodus 12:13

At the Cross that is where everything was born. The Kingdom we are in was birthed at the Cross. We are saved because of the cross, that is where Jesus survived for us. At the cross we became children of God and Jesus bought us at the cross.

At the cross many things were taken away, fear was taken away in our lives from the cross. Because of the cross we are bold, Jesus at the cross became sick so that we cannot become sick. We should not allow sickness in our lives. At the cross Jesus said “It is done” you are saved, your yesterday has passed because of the cross. If you have been through the cross the word of God becomes everything to you.

The Blood of Jesus/The Power of the blood of Jesus

If you are washed by the blood of Jesus you have oxygen of God, you have received the Spirit of the Holy God, any spirit, tongue or mouth that confesses that Christ is Lord does so by the Holy Spirit. The blood speaks, the blood of Jesus has power everywhere, the blood of Jesus brings peace.

You have peace because of the blood of Jesus, it is important not to join church but go to the cross, in salvation you accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour, you have to be washed by the blood of Jesus. Many people accept church rather than accepting  Jesus.

The blood protects. It offers protection always. We are under the blood of Jesus, we have a covenant with God and nothing can harm us because we are under a covenant. The blood is beautiful, it speaks and has power. Choose to believe the word of God than what people say.

When you are under the blood no altar can harm you, whether its altars from your father or mothers they cannot harm you at all because you are under the precious blood of Jesus, nothing can shake you. The blood of Jesus works everywhere.
